Therapy at NeuroRestorative

Pros

I loved working with the clients / patients. There was a lot of freedom with treatment planning, including taking them out on community outings. For the most part we were not micro-managed. I felt like I was making a difference in the lives of my patients.

Cons

Constant change in documentation systems. Constant turn-over from staff and management. Low salary. High caseload due to treating in groups. Being given more responsibilities without the time to complete them.

Lack of Empathy

Business Outlook

Pros

-Incredible bonds built with clients -Opportunities every day to share the small victories -Wonderful therapists who genuinely care about client success

Cons

-Lack of humanity in management (to clients and employees) -Unrealistically low budget restraints for supplying groceries to inpatient homes -Hired for 3 on 4 off schedule (12hr shifts) and they quickly changed the schedule to 7 on 7 off (working 7 12hr shifts back-to-back as full-time caretakers) -Low compensation for the work expected
