Pros

Most of the time it is 3 day work week. Small mining towns and mining community.

Cons

Remote towns and remote work place. High production pressure. Would be hard if family is not living with you and Nearest airport is 3 hrs drive from the town and Inaccessible work site and not flexible working hours

High paying for entry level roles High expectations if your goal is to out perform Bonus Pay Numerous tools and programs at your disposal

Cons

High burnout rate when outperformance is held to "being with NGM for 2 years" for promotions or incentives You are paid equivalent to someone who commutes 15 minutes to work when others ride a bus for over 1.5 hours. Bonus Pay doesn't reflect personal performance as heavy as it should
