Pros

good customers, very friendly working environment, great place to learn banking, sane manageable sale goals, good benefits.

Cons

payout system is terrible. Only a fourth of your payout will be paid next quarter and the rest you'd have to wait for for next next quarter. They make it seem like it's a lot. It's not even that much. I feel like this is an attempt to retain good employees by not letting them runaway as soon as they get their payout. But I feel like this might not be the best strategy.

Pros

Paid holidays and vacation. If you work in a branch or department with people that you like, they become your second family. I loved my management team in the branch and they were always willing to work with my school schedule and pushed me to grow.

Cons

If you take three sick days in six months, you are given a "verbal" warning. Verbal means written. Im not one to call in sick every month, but i left after so many years and had hundreds of hours of sick time accrued that i lost. The sales goals are somewhat achievable but you will definitely be hearing about it every week if you are not on track, even though the goal numbers are reported quarterly. The incentives are minimal and pay out 3 months after the quarter. If you leave, you lose your incentive pay. We were lucky to get 1% raises every year, but with tellers being paid $11-$13/hr, it's a joke. My pay only went up a total of a dollar over several years, and that was with promotions.

Pros

There are no pros to working at this bank.

Cons

You will have to work Saturdays, the health insurance is terrible, the incentives are a joke (after taxes I've never recieved more than $700.. and I'm one of the top performing employees. That's for 3 months of work btw) They're super strict on vacation/sick time... Can only use at certain times. Sales pressure is tremendous. Wouldn't reccomend to my worst enemy. Currently looking for another job.
