Pros

When I started in this company i was looking for sales experience for any future jobs. The reason I ended up staying and growing in this company is because the culture and relationships I made with the like minded individuals I was working with. When I started my life was a bit crazy but the people here really cared and help me through a lot of personal problems i was facing, making it a easy transition into the company. On top of that I have never been apart of a company that is so focused on growing you as a individual. Even the weekly Social Events they hold were a great way for me to have my wife and family really get to meet and get the know the people I was working with.

Cons

The only way to truly grow in the company is to give it 100% of your effort to grow yourself as a better individual. The less effort you give the less attention other people will give you.

Pros

I was having some difficulty in my job search. I came across a bunch of strict commission and door to door companies in the area throughout my search. I was starting to become discouraged, and then I came across New Acquisitions. I was skeptical at first because of what I had ran into previously, but I quickly learned that all positions have a base salary and they don't practice door to door sales. On top of that, I felt incredibly welcomed and comfortable throughout the entire interview process. I was so excited when I was offered the position and throughout my time at New Acquisitions I built many friendships and learned a ton about business as well as life. This job really prepared me for future opportunities in work and in life and I cannot thank this company enough for helping me discover my niche. I am sorry to say that I had to move back home, but I now know what I am looking for moving forward, thanks to the great experience I’ve had at New Acquisitions.

Cons

Unfortunately I had to move back home so I am no longer able to work here, but I found the company great overall.

Pros

- Fun people - Young and diverse group - Clean and modern office

Cons

- Although not technically a pyramid scheme, the company is unfortunately structured in a similar way - Very boring job, you are not challenged in any way, other than the goals that you set yourself to rip off customers - Only motivation is money. People above you make money for every installation even if you don’t reach commission - Very high turnover. They don’t care if you quit as they’ll just hire someone else and promise them the same things - New Acquisitions is NOT a marketing firm. Update your job descriptions. It is a sales office that doesn’t actually design and implement marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product characteristics...) - They over work you and underpay you, sending you far away and making you pay for gas - Morning meetings (4 times a week starting at 7:30). Leaders and directors don’t know what they are doing... - You have one day off per week...

Dear Reviewer, Thank you so much for your feedback! We love that you appreciated our environment and our office as well! Thank you so much for that! Additionally, thank you for acknowledging that we are not a pyramid scheme, as we are not. We do offer a lot of growth opportunity, which is not typical to the corporate world and thus tends to scare people as people tend to fear the unfamiliar. However, we simply have a lot of legitimate growth opportunities available due to the reputable clients we represent. Furthermore, we apologize that you found the position boring, we acknowledge that it is not for everyone, but boring it is far from. We offer a highly engaging and upbeat work environment in which no two days are the same. As far as money being a motivation, for some people it is; however, we acknowledge that there are a number of things that motivate people and encourage our employees to voice their goals so we can help them achieve them regardless of what their motivation may be. We are a sales and marketing firm, we do focus on both areas. As far as hours, it tends to be 40-45 hours a week, which is typical, to our understanding. We encourage our employees to work together and bounce ideas off each other at the beginning of most work days, again a typical practice, which we prefer to foster rather than discourage. As far as our management team, there is a combined 15 plus years work experience amongst them. Yes, we acknowledge that we are all constantly learning and can always improve; however, we have been recognized multiple years in a row by the BBB as well as Best and Brightest companies for our work. Thank you so much for your feedback again and best of luck to you!
