Pros

Flexibility, you get to be the owner of your own goals and projects. Colleagues nice overall.

Cons

HR ice cold, I have literally never seen anything like it Push to RTO, even though both the current and new office not fit for purpose and a disaster to reach by public transport. Fake 'family' feel. This is what lures you in, until you scratch the surface. Either play the office politics game or be ostracized. Cold micro managers in Senior Management. They decide that if you don't tow the company line, an exit strategy will be made for you. Complete with fake stories from your peers on what you supposedly have done. Fickle in their hiring, firing and promoting. You could literally be promoted one month, to be written up the next. Stingy with money, not just salary, but expenses and travel too. Expenses take ages to be paid and nobody gets a company credit card. So be prepared, if you do travel, to pay hundreds of euros yourself and then justify why you need the money back.
