Pros

New Home Star is un matched in its ability to recruit, train and develop new home sales counsellors. With an unbelievable team of support and guidance it truly is thee place to be when it comes to developing the skills necessary to be a leading expert in the industry. There is an incredible amount of opportunity for advancement and to learn from the best leaders in the industry

Cons

Not for people looking to sit back and put in little work. This is a demanding job that requires an intense focus to perfect your craft and become an industry expert. It requires a person that is highly motivated and ambitious day in and day out. The amount of work you put into this job will be a direct result of how well your compensated.

Pros

New Home Star has been great! The training they provide is top notch. Response to emails is quick and they are interested in helping you get to where you want/need to be.

Cons

Must work weekends if in sales, but that is standard in the industry.

Pros

Company does provide sales training although it is a collaboration of typical popular sales books. New Real Estate Agents will learn through the training, but any good Real Estate Firm will offer the same training.

Cons

Terrible Management. Broken promises of position advancement. Training is a manual roll playing. The training is very old school "sells-sells-sells" approach. The company philosophy is similar to a used car sells approach. This is by far the worst company I have every worked for in my career. If you want to be a Real Estate Agent, work for a well known firm- do not waste your time

New Home Star Response

I'm sorry to hear that your experience with New Home Star was not a positive one. We make a conscientious effort to develop a customized training approach that develops sales associates of all experience levels. In reference to your comment regarding our company philosophy being similar to that of a used car sales approach, we feel that our approach to training is more sophisticated and dynamic than what you might find in the auto sales industry. However, it sounds as though you did not experience this. Our people are our number one priority and we take their careers very seriously. Since we started in business in 2008, we have seen many sales associates progress through our career advancement process to become successful managers and directors in our company. Growing our leaders organically is a major emphasis at New Home Star. We wish you well in your future pursuits.
