Pros

Free snacks, Flexible FTO, Good initial pay, coworkers are amazing

Cons

Retaliation firing is common, layoffs, workload has increased exponentially in complexity and volume from 3 years ago, but they’ve decreased the busiest team’s sizes, executive leadership refuses to listen to employee concerns about layoffs and burnout, support is not remote although Product is, brain drain from senior engineers leaving, support has shifted from a junior engineer model to a call center model, lack of upward mobility, lack of diversity including POC, lack of training

Pros

Great location in Portland (downtown), nice facilities, up to date technology

Cons

lacking in training, not enough ramp up time allowed, management wants robotic people who can adapt with no time permitted, unsympathetic, extremely fast paced, managers need training on internal processes.

Pros

The best part of New Relic is the downtown San Francisco office location and great friendships built with employees across the world. Solid Engineering leaders and teams!

Cons

Do your research! New Relic WAS once a great company with a solid reputation. The company ratings and engagement levels are going South, just like the culture quickly has. From a tyrannically led Sales & Marketing org solely focused on pointing fingers, with significant levels of attrition - to the stale and outdated HR function that is the laughing stock of the company.
