      Pros

      The people at New Relic are amazing. They are kind, intelligent and want their teammates to succeed. Inclusivity at the team level is very important. Work-life balance is also very important, and personal care is highly prioritized.

      Cons

      At the c-level, I do not see the vision of the company. Laying off a huge number of employees was result a poor vision. They should not have hired so many sales people if they could not support their people. There was also little room for promotion or career growth. Promotions were promised and never granted. There is little trust between employees and upper management.

      Decent pay and benefits Some coworkers are genuinely amazing people

      Leadership is a delusional echo chamber HR is a joke The product is all over the place, rarely well documented, and the process for too many important things is 'figure it out as we go' The sales motion and business model change constantly. DE&I efforts are window dressing, with the culture varying drastically between teams, and ring hollow when the CEO compares being politically conservative to coming out as gay and encouraging anyone voicing dissent or pressing for follow through to just quit. A sales manager held a maskless boat party during the height of covid-19 and the response was 'it wasn't mandatory'
