Great company, straight forward hiring process
Pros
I'm new to New Relic so can only relate my experience so far. I was contacted by New Relic after attending a local hiring event. I had a phone interview, technical challenge, and in-person interview. Throughout the hiring process, my points of contact were very nice and easy to get ahold of with any questions I had. I've gotten a strong sense of community here - despite there being hundreds of people working in the building. The people here have gone out of their way to be nice and welcome me. The onboarding process for learning my new position is not overwhelming and there's frequent check-ins with my manager and various departments which allows me to learn more about how my position fits in with the organization. New Relic actively works to support women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ communities. During my first week here, there have been two company sponsored events for these groups. Additionally, there seems to be a lot of room for promotion within this growing company. The compensation and benefits are at or above industry standards. The physical work environment is lively and fluid, allowing you to flow wherever it suits you best - including to another floor to enjoy the popular Latte-bot.
Cons
The company is growing pretty fast which means there are a lot of people here with less than 1 year of experience in my department. But that may also be because they have moved on to other departments in the company as well. That's all I have for cons since I've not been here that long.
