Pros

New Relic provides deep visibility into application and infrastructure performance. It's excellent for root cause analysis, offering detailed transaction traces and error tracking. The setup for popular languages is straightforward, and the custom dashboards and alerting are extremely valuable for proactive monitoring.

Cons

The platform can be quite expensive, especially for large-scale adoption. There is a learning curve to fully utilize all the features, and agent overhead is a minor consideration. The sheer amount of data can be overwhelming without proper configuration.
