      Pros

      I have worked at many firms in the Bay Area from 2 persons consulting firms, to hot startups to the big boys. I have seen when a company is destined for failure and those on the path to glory. New Relic is one of the most well tuned firms I have had the pleasure to work for and they execute to perfection every quarter. From the top down, management is visibly involved and open to talking to everyone. When it comes to culture, they do their best to ensure everyone has the ability to succeed.

      Pros

      - Healthy respect for good work - Tight knit team - Patience, but still driven to win - Fantastic offices - Creativity and innovation encouraged - Not afraid to hire to succeed - Care about culture - Leadership really good people, big hearts

      Cons

      - Fast growth means a lot of new faces - Some inconsistencies between HQ and satellite offices - Not a company for those that want to coast through their careers - Compensation seems "average" - not bad at all, but not amazing

      Pros

      Constant innovation, extremely high pride in the company and esprit de corps, excellent benefits, proper focus on work / life balance, company outlook is very bright!

      Cons

      I haven't been there long enough to see the underbelly of working there. My biggest concerns have been around the lack of defined processes, but that could be a side effect of coming from and being used to a large corporation.
