Pros

Love working here, the atmosphere is amazing, I started when I first got my license and knew nothing about real estate. Within 2 months I learned more than I would have learned in a year in traditional real estate. The managers are very supportive and knowledgeable. I can very easily balance my personal life and my work hours.

Cons

It takes a while to earn your first paycheck, but is definitely be worth it.

Pros

You can act as unprofessional as you wish immature and offensive.

Cons

Unethical practices, Nepotism and bias advantages for already established agents. The compensation is horrible for agents. Toxic work environment without any diversity or cultural sensitivity and HORRIBLE PROPERTIES TO SELL!!!

Pros

New Western is the biggest and most experienced of the SFR investment companies. Operating in probably more than 20-30 states and really built the market. Lots of other copy cat companies out there but it was clear pretty early that NW was the by far the best to work for since they have the largest network and deepest training and learning and by far the best tech. I intervieed with a bunch of others that said they were innovative but they were just boiler room kind of up starts. My job now is incredibly engaging and complex and I work with all of my friends. It's hard but the rewards are big. Financially and in being able to manage my own schedule

Cons

It's really hard in the beginning and it was confusing at first because all of the people making mind boggling amount of money didn't look like they were working very hard. What I found out is that they hustled their way through in the begining to set themselves up. It's truly a get out what you put in position but once you build a foundation it gets a lot easier and more enjoyable. The time really flies and it's hard work but doesn't always feel like it when you start clicking.

It’s inspiring to hear how much value you’ve found at New Western—from flexible scheduling and strong support to top-tier training and technology. It’s especially meaningful that you were able to build a fulfilling and financially rewarding career with a team you enjoy. You’re right—success here often starts with a grind. But as you’ve experienced, the hard work early on can lay the foundation for long-term rewards and a more enjoyable, sustainable rhythm. Solid point on the social presence. We appreciate the feedback and agree—sharing our real impact more publicly can help set us apart from the noise. Glad to have your voice and leadership on the team!
