Pros

You will be introduced to wholesaling, which can be done on your own.

Cons

I will be suing this company for their inability to pay my commission on a transaction I completed.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I’d like to start by addressing the pros. Yes, you are introduced to wholesaling, but you also have to keep in mind that you are being trained by one of the fastest growing and one of the biggest residential real estate investment firms in the nation. We not only train our new associates extremely well with our 2 week very in depth training program plus we offer continuing education classes weekly, but we train them to maximize their fullest potential by providing the leads for you as well, teaching you how to find your own leads on top of that, creating a fun office culture/atmosphere, regular team outings, allowing you the flexibility to be your own boss, uncapped commissions which leads to unlimited income and so much more. Our Acquisitions Associates also provide the Sales Associates with all of the properties which allows a new agent to focus on solely building their relationships with investors and selling properties. We’re sorry to hear that you feel you were not compensated fairly. And for anyone looking for a career opportunity like ours, be advised that we don’t believe in handouts. We believe in hard work, dedication, perseverance, and above all – commitment. We do not compensate someone should they choose to leave before the transaction is completed. We have extremely high standards here at New Western Acquisitions, and take great pride in the people we hire, although we don’t always hit the mark every time. Again, thank you for taking the time to write this review. Good luck to you in your endeavors.

Awesome Place To Work!

Pros

I have worked here at New Western for almost six months and I love it! This company has an excellent culture and I've never had a "Monday" feeling when I come in. You can call anyone (including the owners) at any time and they will drop everything to help you. There is zero cap on your commission so you have the opportunity to earn however much you want. It's a killer company and a great way to learn about real estate. I have learned more in the six months of working there than I did in my previous 3 years of having my license. Great opportunity!

Cons

Sometimes I do not know what to do with all the money I make and I have too much fun while in the office

Pros

- Freedom to structure your day as you see fit - Management oversight to help you succeed but not look over your shoulder all day. - Commission based compensation - Those who are successful can easily be making six figure incomes after two years - Potential for relocation - I was hired in San Antonio, TX and moved to open up our Tampa, FL office - Organized training programs - these didn't exist when I was hired but are now available to spell out every aspect of the job to new hires - upward mobility - because of the pace the company is growing if you are very successful at your current position new positions can actually be created if it's your time for advancement - Fun competitions - Monthly to bimonthly sales or health based competitions - Company trips visiting other offices around the country - No two days are ever the same. The last thing anyone could ever say about this job is that it's boring.

Cons

Building a business takes time. As an independent contractor you don't walk in on the first day with sources to acquire real estate from and clients to sell to. You have to build relationships in the real estate community in the area. If that's not your strong suit then you're up for a struggle here. If you are satisfied with a 9-5 job in a corporate environment this isn't for you. If you're shy or dislike interacting with people you will almost certainly be unsuccessful at this company. As a pro you dictate your own work schedule but as potentially a con you may wind up working a lot longer work weeks than a corporate job. I can wind up going into the office seven days a week because I want to make more money than I did the last week, and because I absolutely love what I do.
