Pros

I love the "get what you earn" aspect of this business. I've learned a great deal with this company and love the culture that they have established.

Cons

First 3 months a rough, just like any commission based industry. Expect to dip into your savings at first but if you can pull through then you will make a good living for yourself.

Pros

Most of the reviews are from current employees, who have not figured out the company yet. Atmosphere can be fun if you enjoy partying and a young frat atmosphere.

Cons

High turnover, management is all over the place, company only hires males for acquisitions and sales jobs. Like other reviews have mentioned, make sure you have money prior to working for this company. It takes about 3 months to start averaging $2,000 monthly. The company starts you off making 12% commission (which seems great) but its only great for management. Another reason why turnover is high.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We definitely like to make sure we have a fun office culture so associates will want to come to the office instead of working from home. Many of our associates are friends outside of work so what they choose to do on their off time is completely up to them. You’re right. Anyone looking for a career in real estate whether it’s traditional residential real estate or investment real estate, you have to have some type of monetary reserve when you start this position. All of this is clearly stated when you go through our 3 step interview process so we make sure that it’s reiterated 3 different times should we choose to offer an associate a position. As far as the average compensation monthly and how long it takes to get there is concerned, that is entirely based upon that particular associate’s drive and motivation to start making money. We do have some associates that come in and sell 8 properties in their first 30 days, and we have some associates that come in and only sell 2 properties in their first 90 days – both are in the same office. The best part about an opportunity like ours is every associate is allowed to make as much as they want with unlimited income potential with uncapped commissions or they can make as little as they want because they chose to be mediocre and usually end up leaving blaming the company for their inability to push themselves to be successful. We provide every associate with the same amount of leads, the same amount of training and the same amount of properties. Again, thank you for taking the time to write this review. Good luck to you in your endeavors.

Pros

New Western is a forward moving company; with an appetite to grow nation wide and promote from within. Leadership can be found from top to bottom. They genuinely care about your professional growth and development.

Cons

For someone coming in, a con could be the flexibility. Some professionals do not realize how much accountabilitty they need day to day. At new western you will have a lot of flexibility but should be used wisely to build yourself up.
