Pros

Very flexible with schedule so long as you can fulfill the 3 day requirement. You gain a lot of experience in the field

Cons

Not much room to grow. No real staff/community feel if you're a field reporter you're never introduced to the newsroom team

Pros

Will look good on your resume Convos about current events can be hilarious and fun nice gym

Cons

This place is run by racists, bigots, and liars. Racist jokes, sexist jokes, and overall targeting and awkward questions towards people of color. Management will keep you where you are with no advancement. People are laid off constantly so that's why it looks like this company is doing well. New people with low salaries are hired with no chance of advancement. So think again if you believe you'll work your way up the ladder. HR is also corrupt, if you complain about anything, they will lie to get rid of you. They'd rather pay to shut you up than address poor management.
