Pros

- Incredible people to work with. Coworkers are intelligent, collaborative, engaging and incredibly supportive of your goals and ideas - Exciting office environment. Never a dull day with news breaking all around you and opportunities to explore - Great benefits, 401K - Hybrid work environment (currently in office 2x a week) Overall, if anyone were to ask me what my time at The Post was like, I would surprise them when I say I loved it. The work might be crazy and the company controversial, but the people create an amazing environment where you feel supported and excited to contribute to one of the largest growing digital media spaces in the country.

Cons

- Compensation/raise/promotion system is lacking. Managers advocate for their employees but higher-ups must adhere to a stringent corporate policy that does not reflect employee contributions in salary

Pros

Every person I've worked with has been helpful, kind and fun. The team I'm specifically assigned to is absolutely wonderful and some of the kindest coworkers I've ever had. I was promoted within my first year and have been given ample assistance and guidance to succeed. Also a great work-life balance which is rare in media.

Cons

The higher ups definitely give off "Succession" vibes. They never address controversies leaving employees to read about it in the media. They also cover up sexual harassment claims and anything that won't make them money.
