Hard to change old ways and be innovative

Pros

The publication was still a newspaper at its core and was trying to target a national audience with its digital team. But, it is still having an identity crisis that falls back to old ways for an occasional hit.

Cons

Although there were some effort to break down the walls between the digital and paper's teams, it is still an uphill battle. Leadership was not diverse.

Pros

Trying to move away from being a newspaper with new sites launching in 2015 and PageSix TV in 2016. Good pay, commission structure strong with performance. Funny mix of really old school newspaper people and new digital focused people.

Cons

still a newspaper sell at heart. market has a strong bias one way or the other that is tough to break for new business. account list breakdown is by agency minus any retail accounts under that agency.
