Pros

If you live in NY everyone has heard of it Page Six

Cons

Print is a dying medium Daily News is overtaking the Post in circulation They don't reward sales reps with commission They always tell you to 'drink the coolaid', ie; don't vocalize any problems or improvements that could be made, just shut up and deal with it.

Pros

Benefits are competitive and taking time off is not difficult. Young and friendly employees that for the most part make you feel at home as well. Hours are not very long, 9 - 5:30.

Cons

Upper management is lacking in direction and experience. High turnover makes it necessary to constantly impress your new manager. Sales program has a definite path but a definite ceiling. Management expects you to compete for internal positions and continues to change your role and responsibilities to give you "exposure".
