I had a great experience working at NYPL. The management/supervisor has been understanding and easy to talk to. Benefits is a plus. I also fell like I can openly express my thoughts and opinion to the higher-ups and they will listen to my suggestions. I feel welcome and appreciative at the branch I'm working at. Overall I have a great experience and hopefully it continues that way.

Cons

Working at the local branch in the Bronx the patrons can be a lot to handle at times. They can be rude and argumentative. Also I wish the closing times for certain branch would be cut shorter.
