Pros

Incredibly smart colleagues. A commitment to something larger than the work (aka the mission of The New York Times itself). Great clients and interesting work.

Cons

Not a ton of mobility for competitive salaries within the confines of T Brand Studio as marketers / creatives / strategists / account leads etc. Lots of new individuals come in with big plans for change without a ton of work by the company to cultivate internal talent

Pros

it's a GREAT newspaper, and you'll work with amazing, interesting, smart people.

Cons

Amazing, interesting, smart people often don't make the best co-workers or bosses. Also, the industry turmoil is killer.

Pros

Overall, the NYT has an inclusive, progressive company culture and constantly evolving career ladders to help you progress

Cons

There are some teams within the organization that are clique-heavy, and it's best to identify them quickly and transfer a new team.
