I love working at NewFields. They really treat you like family and want you to succeed in your career. The CEO is very nice and I respect his business standpoints. They are constantly evolving and staying on top of the industry and its advances .
The people in the Dallas office are awesome (including the CEO), the laid back atmosphere is great (come and go pretty much as you please, as long as you get your work done), the benefits are great (everything from PTO to the 401K to our paid holidays... we even get a paid holiday for Newfields because "it's too long between holidays, so we made up one."), the pay is on par with anything else you will find, maybe even a little on the high side, considering the bonuses and overtime (if you're hourly). The office is a close group who often go out to social gatherings outside of work to celebrate a variety of different things from company anniversaries to co-workers' birthdays. Just an all-around great place to work.
Cons
The one and only thing that is not favorable about this job position specifically, (for someone with a family), is the overnight travel... often a few nights at a time and sometimes as much as 3 weeks or more at a time. Even so, the managers really try to work with you on keeping you home if you want and/or need to... so even for someone with a family it's bearable.
