Pros

Great coworkers, good food nearby, free delivered dinner after 7 PM.

Cons

Ever wanted to work in a Chinese factory with your college degree? Newegg will provide everything you need to experience one in United States. The company is plagued with nasty, autocratic, and myopic senior management. Most of the company are first generation immigrants with elementary English skills, and when people fail to understand basic communications, the blame is placed on native English speakers to cover their incompetence. Projects to diversify the company's core portfolio are launched with minimal resources and doomed to failure. People are harassed daily for failing to meet senior managers' arbitrary goals. And every week, people are fired. New hire training has been dumbed down so that almost nothing useful is covered during the classes. You have to read through a hundred page document to study for a test, and you can be fired for not passing it. If you have any sort of industry experience, and hope to apply it at Newegg, don't bother. Odds are, your manager will have no respect for your experience and will actually tell you to keep your mouth shut because they know better.

Pros

nothing - there is nothing positive about this company except the paycheck every other Friday and even that is below market

Cons

everything - especially the PEOPLE. This place is staffed with people that can't get jobs anywhere else. Everyone back stabs and talks a lot of gossip. Nobody follows process or procedure and make it up as they go. They are constantly borrowing money just to stay afloat. the company isn't profitable despite what they are saying. And to make matter worse, the people that are supposed to make money aren't , then have the nerve to demand a bonus while the rest of us get nothing.

Pros

For the average person pros generally occur within the first 3 years, unless you do well with politics and getting in the right groups/departments. For those who focus on their own current and future success via politics there is opportunity for quick promotions and pay increases. There are pros for new hires, interns and those with little time invested in the company if they want to learn eCommerce; it is likewise a great way to add eCommerce experience to your resume.

Cons

Chinese culture and politics means you are an unwelcome expense; decision makers do not have any interest in your financial, professional or personal success. Consistent successful innovation, dedication to the company and loyalty is trivialized by senior management, which results in diluted merit for those who deserve to be rewarded. Senior/top management is laser focused on preventing pay from increasing and how they can increase overseas and imported headcount. It encourages low achievement and complaints about pay, while also preventing those who have performed from reward by the company.
