      If you like working with underachievers then this is the place for you. Top talent isn't appreciated & doesn't stay long

      Pros

      For recent grads it's a decent 1st or 2nd job. Lots of staff in mid 20's but don't expect to learn much or make competitive wages.

      Cons

      Little to no training. Outside of 1 or 2 people upper management isn't qualified to be doing their jobs. Mainland Chinese management with little exp running a big ecommerce company. Heavy pro asian environment. Very few bright people.... lots of mediocre folks who would have been fired anywhere else. Heavy turn over of staff with top people not hanging around long. Place isn't what you would expect for a profitable ecommerce company.

      It's a okay job if you just want a job

      Pros

      No official layoff plan. Your job is secured if you do not violate any company policy.

      Cons

      Not rewarding for hard working or excellent output. Lower and middle management has no authority to reward their team members. They can't even make salary adjustment. There's no clear report channel. Any top management or department manager could assign you a new project. The annual planing and KPI setting are not really working. Top management often assigns a corporate project in the middle of year and asks for highest priority with due date in 3 months.

      good for balancing life and work; more tolerate for average performers; few pressure for most of employees; have opportunity to try but might not rewarding

      Cons

      lack of passion and capacity for creative, esp. from senior management; a bit too conservative and a laggar; not able to reward performing employees and make them different from the rest;
