      Pros

      Little stress with working because of lack of work. Managers mostly on existant. Plenty of free time

      Cons

      Company is poorly run. Managers are over tasked and are almost non existant in managing their employees. When in a time the economy is growing and giving pay raises none are given. When one leaves no accrued vacation time is paid out. And a $75 closing fee per 401k or roth in charged. Customers satisfaction is poor.

      Perks and Drawbacks, but Great People

      Pros

      I love my team & do feel that I have support of a marketing and research department, and a healthy work/life balance.

      Cons

      Management structure is very silo-ed so it's hard to get one straight answer, and corporate is often blamed when things are inefficient, whether or not that is truly the case. Brokers are king and the rest of us can sometimes feel disposable (although this might just be an industry trait).

      Pros

      Working at GFP was great. Benefits at this company were one of the pros. 401k, Medical, they had a lot of company events as well. That made it feel more like working with a company that cares about their employees and getting to know them.

      Cons

      Working at this location, 230 Fifth Avenue, I felt like the work load was a con. I feel like they don't realize the workload some has at times. Even though it's understandable that everything is on a time frame in the office.
