Newsweek Amplify is in the business of hiring writers and editors from South-East Asian countries and Africa at less than a third of the standard price to publish sponsored articles for their affiliates on the Newsweek platform which is also syndicated to Apple news. It is the most unprofessional setting for a freelance writer looking to work remotely with shady "editors" and "content managers" who refuse to even go by their real names. The entire operation is essentially run from the Philippines by unqualified "managers" with no valid credentials hiring and firing writers at a pace which can leave you dizzy. Every freelance writer enticed by the Newsweek tag should stay away, staggeringly unqualified management combined with "editors" who have no inkling of the writing process awaits them.
