      Great office atmosphere with free drinks Structured raises for below Senior level positions Entry level friendly Upper levels listen to employee concerns

      Cons

      Getting any sort of paid training is like pulling teeth Several projects are short term so you might be on the bench or cut if they have no work. They are growing from a smaller company into a larger one so some of the benefits are ok but could be better (they finally started to contribute to 401k) Most work is onsite - little chance for work from home

      Pros

      Nexient has a clear focus on developing their employees. If you want to work your way up in software development this is the place. The service industry lends itself well to providing engineers with a diverse background. Work/Life balance is also valued, working nights or weekends is very uncommon and not the norm.

      Cons

      Salary is average, but the career opportunities, culture, and work/life balance are well worth it. If you want to make top dollar and are happy with your skill level, Nexient might not be the place for you.
