      lots of smart friendly software developers

      Cons

      Many of the managers, directors and the clients have little or no respect for software developers. Disrespect and bullying towards some of the developers was sad to witness.

However, I am shocked to hear you felt that some managers and clients didn’t respect our developers. As another poster wrote, I believe Nexient actually has a very strong developer-centric culture.       Nexient is fine. Good and bad even out.

      Pros

      Company hires lots of young/new developers which makes it a nice place to get some experience and learn different tools on different projects. It also makes it a fun ground to be around in the office. Some managers are really great people and will help you grow if you're a new developer, others are hard to communicate with or simply kept so busy it feels like they don't have time for you. 'Fun' events to get to know coworkers are a nice touch Laid back atmosphere, flexible hours(usually), lots of random free food from clients visiting, etc.

      Cons

      Salary is below average for the area(at least for entry level positions). Devs are put on to projects where they may or may not have experience or knowledge with the languages or frameworks needed and have little if any input on what they work on. No bonuses, no 401k matching, no monetary incentive to stay past a few years to gain experience to move on to a company that does have something(and that pays at least average as well). Communication between management seems to have a disconnect at times, it can be really hit or miss depending on the who is in charge of you.
