Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the clinic environment and schedule. Those are both areas we work hard to maintain for our teams. That said, we completely understand how challenging a 12-hour shift can feel, especially without a traditional lunch break. Due to the nature of urgent care and the need to remain available for walk-in patients, we don’t schedule fixed lunch breaks. However, we do staff our clinics intentionally to allow for flexibility throughout the day. Team members are encouraged to take up to a 1-hour unpaid break when volume allows, along with two paid 10-minute breaks per shift. Our cross-trained team structure helps make that possible; MAs can rotate between front and back office roles to provide each other with time to step away. We also provide a $25 monthly Uber Eats allowance so that on days when leaving the clinic is tough, you still have convenient options for meals delivered onsite. We appreciate your time with us and the work you contributed during your tenure. If there’s ever additional feedback you’d like to share, we’re always open to learning and improving (you can email HR@Nlucc.com). Thank you again, and we wish you all the best in your future roles!

Pros

Free concert, nba, and nfl tickets, work parties, free clinic visits, great schedule, and easy to request off or switch shifts with someone.

Cons

Catty/mean coworkers and managers (some not all), no bonuses, and points system for calling in, having to leave work early, etc.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and for the contributions you made during your time with us! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the perks like concert, NBA, and NFL tickets, work parties, and the flexible scheduling. These are just a few of the ways we try to show appreciation and make work-life balance possible for our team members. We also want to clarify that we do offer performance-based bonuses. For clinical roles, these are tied to patient satisfaction (NPS scores) and clinic volume. That means bonuses are more readily achieved when patients receive great care and when clinics maintain a steady patient flow. If you’re working in a slower clinic or your clinic is not meeting service expectations, those bonuses may be harder to unlock, but they are definitely available and actively being earned across our clinics. Regarding your note about team dynamics, we’re sorry to hear that some interactions weren’t positive. While many of our teams are close-knit and collaborative, we recognize that’s no workplace is perfect. If there was a specific incident or team member that made your experience difficult, we’d truly appreciate you reaching out to us at HR@nlucc.com so we can address it and help ensure others don’t encounter the same issue moving forward. Lastly, the attendance points system is designed to ensure fairness and consistency for everyone. That said, we’re always open to feedback and encourage conversations with leadership when unique circumstances arise. We appreciate your review and wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors!
