Pros

NextBee is a great place to work, learn and collaborate. Most team members are down to earth and easy to communicate with to get things done. Lots of room for growth. Also a great opportunity to work with some big brands as they use our engagement and loyalty platform for sales, marketing or internal employee reward programs. You get to learn new things everyday and also NextBee is really growing fast.

Cons

Its takes a while to understand the platform and learn different use-cases and information flow. Once you get an understanding then you can keep rolling. You get to work on multiple projects at the same time so prioritization and communication is the key in terms of setting expectations for completion and delivery.

Best place to work

Pros

NextBee is great for encouraging the development of new skills, providing job independence (do the work, be productive and the day is mostly yours to schedule), and finally for investing in what’s needed to do the job. The culture is usually relaxed but hard work is expected and appreciated (verbally and financially).

Cons

There’s a lot to do and sometimes it’s all at once. Responsibility changes can come in quickly so you have to multi-task and be flexible. It would also be nice if we had more established processes but that’s being actively worked on now so it’s getting better.

Pros

Independence - if you work, then you're free to set your schedule for the most part (there are certain hours that need to be covered to meet with clients). Growth Encouraged - The CEO likes his people to learn so he's provided several resources to education/professional development. Invests in Resources/Tools - NextBee has no problem investing in equipment and resources when/where it makes sense. The Ratings Explained: (I think it's important to understand why the ratings were given below.) Career Opportunities: There's a great number of opportunities to learn new skills and grow. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation here is good but unfortunately, there are no health benefits (I have good ones, but that's because I knew how to find them!). Work/Life Balance: We deal with multiple time zones so it can be a challenge to turn the work off and set boundaries for when you're available and when you're not but that's also my fault - I'm a bit of a workaholic. Senior Management: Great vision but they have too much on their plate. Trust in people to do the jobs they're hired for and guide/direct when needed so you can work on the business vs. in it. Culture & Values: the culture is very laid back but hard work is expected (and rewarded).

Cons

Multiple projects can be assigned at once so you can get pulled in too many directions. Changes can come quickly - always looking to adapt and grow there can be changes made quickly to your job and responsibilities. But, communicate and be flexible and it can be fun and managed. Otherwise, it becomes stressful. Lack of processes and coherent collateral - this is being fixed (one of my projects actually) so it's getting better, just takes patience.
