Terrible place to work; avoid at all costs

Pros

Some of my teammates are good people

Cons

Sarah Friar is by far the worst CEO I’ve had in my entire career. For a company that is supposedly built on and one that preaches kindness, she is anything but kind. She has managed to bring company morale to an all time low, along with its stock price. She is rude, condescending, hypocritical and definitely doesn’t earn any respect from employees. She really needs to be fired before she runs the company to the ground. A strong blame culture within this company, which stems from the top. Just when you think the stock price can’t get any lower, it does.

Pros

• Once rallied around a mission to build a kinder world. • Previously enjoyed autonomy in work. • Base salary remains competitive.

Cons

• Deterioration of leadership leading to a fear-based culture. • Retaliation against dissenting voices under the guise of “disagree and commit.” • High attrition rates, especially among veteran engineers. • Unkept promises regarding layoffs, followed by an aggressive PIP culture. • Constant shifts in product direction and frequent team reorganizations. • Perceived absence of hands-on leadership from the CEO. • Return-to-office decisions that disregarded employee safety and well-being. • Office location in an area where many employees feel unsafe. • Insensitive and out-of-touch responses to employee concerns.
