Pros

Great co-workers to work with. We are all trying to keep our clients satisfied and give optimal customer service. Not many of the original employees are left but the long-timers still have passion for "Nextech's" name.

Cons

A previously small family-owned company turned corporate in a flash. Restructuring at the maximum, with no say in what the employee wants or what they were hired for originally. Voice and creativity are no longer acknowledged. Bonuses no longer exist and have been taken over by using retail perks.

Sorry you haven't felt that you have a voice or are able to express your creativity, as we certainly support these values and encourage all of our managers to lead with collaboration and foster them. We do have an incentive bonus program, which is highly competitive/generous to market and applies to every employee in the organization who is not commission-eligible. Please contact your manager or Human Resources if you'd like more information on the existing bonus program.

Pros

A job in a growing industry in the medical industry. There appeared to be some decent people working there and the new regime seemed honest.

Cons

Too many C level execs for a company of its size. Lots of nepotism in the support department and a revolving door with constant turnover. No training at all and the pay is not worth the workload and metrics. I make much more in a more lax environment now. Also the call load was so heavy they had three temps take calls just to log info and clients would not be contacted for days. That is appalling. Would not recommend to anyone. Also the cubes are small and the office feels claustrophobic. Too many cubes in each row.

Pros

Ok starting salary for a recent grad. Good coworkers.

Cons

No training for support specialists. They will tell you they have training but they lie. They invest very little Time money or effort to make the support organization better. Sales people are the kings of the company and get treated as such. You are expected to hit unrealistic goals. These goals were realistic a few years back but did not change as the company grew. Management never admits the problems the company has and acts like it's the greatest company in the world. New upper management is trying to make things better but they did not realize the problems the inherited from previous owner. They sugar coat everything but life as a support specialists was hell. The worst part is no chance for advancement. They created new positions but call them "lateral" movement with was a fancy way of saying you aren't getting a raise. I left with no job lined up and was happier poor unemployed.
