Pros

Compensation / Bonuses Arena Facilities- LEED Building, gym, cafe, reduced rate to park next to Nationwide Arena, covered parking from garage to building, secure facility, clean.

Cons

Hiring Practices are unfair & go through consulting companies instead of hiring managers. Favoritism, the same people get promotion opportunities regardless of their drive or contribution. Teams are not balanced, in regards to D&I.

Pros

Salary was liveable for the mid-OH area.

Cons

They have a practice of hiring people into roles, transferring them from other states with moving packages and then doing a bait and switch in the role soon after employees arrive. They do this because they can't find local talent to do the work and they don't want to fund external consultants. The moving package comes with a one-sided contract. If you leave before the contractual agreement ends, they will steal your last paycheck and make you repay the moving costs even if they were the ones in the wrong. Additionally, if you decide to take legal action, you are liable for their lawyers' fees. As I heard from my co-workers when I exited this unethical company, I was not the only person who had experienced this in the past couple of years.

Smoke Screen City

Pros

1. Pay (in some areas) 2. Work/Life Balance - most managers are compassionate with things like funerals, births, accidents but it is beginning to shift away from that as well

Cons

1. Management - too many managers, too much micro-managing, not enough respect for field personnel, techs, and lower level employees, smoke screen where they appear like they care but if you speak up you get punished, many current managers lack experience and credibility, several insecure managers that bully 2. Benefits - cost has been increasing and actual benefits decreasing 3. Advancement or career opportunities - you have to know someone and know how to "flatter" upper management 4. Unhappy workforce - many are complaining from all different departments 5. Politics - on every level 6. An extreme focus on inclusion and diversity - to the point of watching everything you say and do because one little word can be taken the wrong way instantly and cause punishment (over indulgence of political correctness) Employee mentality is shifting towards - "I can't wait to retire and get away from there," "This company used to be great to work for," "I'm looking elsewhere because there is no future here," etc...
