Toxic culture - steer clear

Pros

Flexible schedule, remote work, decent pay

Cons

Where do I begin? - Cult-like organization with a toxic culture. - Prioritizes money over all else - CEO mandated in-person events throughout the entire pandemic, flying in its employees from all around the country to gather without any social distancing. If you don't go, you get fired. - Leadership threatens people's jobs as a means to motivate them. - Horrible benefits - PTO policy is a joke. Health insurance is even worse. You pay a SURCHARGE if you don't fully participate in wellness activities. - CEO throws temper tantrums to get what he wants and disrespects others. - Faculty is treated like bottom of the barrel. They prioritize Admissions and Financial Aid because that's who makes them the most money. - Insanely high turnover rate (~45%) due to toxic culture. - Claims to be "making a difference" in nursing education - don't be fooled. They are just like every other for-profit educational institution.

Pros

Helping individuals that made poor life choices learn become nurses. Since the company is small you work very autonomous. Funny how the "VP" needed to attempt to fluff the reputation instead of provided an u biased review.

Cons

Where to begin? °The values are just a poster they hang for people to see. None of the management follow them. ° it's a for profit scam/school that preys on the less fortune with high school level curriculum. ° Managers are only out to line their pockets, steal others ideas or ignore any way to bolster morale of the employees. ° High turn over due to low wages. ° High turn over due to clicks, and high performers being abused for their work ethic. ° Gossip is king. ° Job titles and positions are created to pacify unhappy employees. ° individuals in the "WOR" click get raises. ° Teachers are completely disorganized. ° The VP is right about working hard. It's because you are performing the work required by a team. ° fly by night ideas. If one doesn't fix it, keep throwing money at it. ° buzz words and non industry acronyms are all the rage. ° nepotism. ° CO and VP blame other constantly for their short comings. ° CEOs favorite phrase "if you can't conform, there is the door". ° The overall atmosphere for the individuals that actually carry the business is downtrodden, degrading, and negative. ° there are meetings to plan meetings for meetings to listen to the CEO talk for hours about his idiology, his hate, or his desires. Never a word about the people they are robbing. ° Reactive in all aspects of business, never proactive.

Pros

The great reviews are done by friends of an employee Jonathon - a complete fool.

Cons

The worst place I have ever worked. This is a small clown car with the president and his direct reports. I have never met such liars in my life. Avoid this place at all cost.
