A great and fruitful stay on the whole but for a reporting boss who was an embarrassment with no value addition.
Pros
A good team that responds to you is by far the biggest positive. A great global brand name which helps in the corporate sector business. A cash rich organization resulting in security of job. Extremely talented Japanese expats who know the intricacies of the business but need to Indianize themselves to suit local condition.
Cons
Corporate level management led by some extremely insensitive and unprofessional people (at least one of them) Key Senior Managers have left the organization due to this one person who is basically an obstacle in free thinking for others. Although having a great global presence, even after 7-8 years, the Indian Market hardly knows Nippon Express in India primarily due to the top management's policy not to have high visibility. There is too much friction between the Japanese and Indian Management which is bad for the company's health.
