Pros

Nippon Express is a great company and I always have been looking for an opportunity where I can demonstrate my skills. Nippon gave me the opportunity to work there. I demonstrate my professional qualities during my tenure in the company. I quit for a better job.

Cons

Not having professional recognition by the company, where more friendship than the professional qualification of its employees at the time of the chance of a promotion within the company.

Pros

Good company with large worldwide network, offers medical/dental benefits although not the best, some excellent people working with the company

Cons

Upper management changes constantly, some upper management are not knowledgeable enough to be in the positions they are in, decisions on hiring/firing/finances made by someone completely unqualified and power hungry, happy to work employees to exhaustion with little or no recompense, lower end of salaries for the industry

Pros

Good salaries, very stable, company is very skittish about laying of or terminating anyone and will go to great lengths to avoid it.

Cons

Promotions and wage/salary increases come very slowly - if you do not argue for a high rate/salary coming in it will take years to get to where you want to be. In some branches it can be extremely difficult to function and to understand office politics if you do not speak and understand Japanese; though the company has been in the U.S. for 50 years, Japanese is still the primary language spoken in the office in many branches.
