Nixon is a family owned growing company. If you like to work hard and be challenged, Nixon would be a great fit. It truly is a family atmosphere at Nixon. The pay is good but as mentioned before, it can be a challenging job. The opportunity to grow with Nixon is there as long as you are willing to put forth the effort to sharpen your skills. There is decent training and most of management is willing to assist in personal development. Nixon strives to promote from within. Not by seniority, but by recognizing those who prove to be successful.

Cons

Sometimes long hours are required. If you are looking to skate by and stay under the radar, this may not be the company for you.

Pros

The owners of the company are fantastic men. They believe in the core values of the company. They try their best to make sure things are right and done right.

Cons

Even though the owners are awesome they don't know what goes on. I was allowed to work in a hostile work environment for six months. I had gone to hr and was told to speak to the individuals boss. Told them not comfortable. Nothing. No follow up. Fast forward 6 months and had a breakdown. That's when hr decided to get involved. One of the core values is doing the right thing. They didn't.
