Pros

You get to hone your skills as a teacher and develop laser like focus on execution as well as classroom management. Because Noble is all about sweating the small stuff, whether you were good at it or not before, you become a "nobilized" teacher and that is invaluable. All of the teachers are the best of the best and you can learn a lot! As an organization, there is so much love for the network from the scholars, to the teachers, to the admins, without the brainwashing. This organization produces RESULTS and that's really all that matters when it comes to the achievement gap, expectations, and realities. I have never seen such a higher performing charter so true to its character. Be Noble. =)

Cons

Difficult work life balance and really not for everyone. It's for those who are willing to go through the grind and emerge a little bit success in the end. The reward is immensely gratifying.

Pros

Good and relevant professional development.

Cons

No work life balance. Judgmental staff- if you don't stay until 6pm, you don't care about your kids. Placement outside of appropriate content area- individuals with math/science background doing college counseling with no experience. Entitled mentality. Lots of buzzwords but no actual guidance or instruction on how to implement strategies.
