Once a career, now a job

Pros

Many employees have spent most of their career at this company.

Cons

The divestment to a PE firm has increased the stress and uncertainty greatly. Older employees are treated much better than younger. There is very limited ability to grow and be promoted. Bonus is now based on 1 company and not J&J portfolio.

Pros

Great benefits and overtime. Great for a first job. Would recommend 1-2 years if not promoted.

Cons

No flexibility in work schedule. not much growth opportunities. management doesn't seem interested in strengthening a workers abilities and growth. Worked more like a machine where you repeat the same tasks and never get much insight in why or how things work.
