Pros

The pay is great. You work on commission so you're in charge of how much money you end up making.

Cons

Since the work is commission based, it can get competitive between employees on the sales floor. Each department is different

Pros

There are tons of great people there, and I love working with them. Its one of the only things that keeps me coming to work and makes me happy.

Cons

Being singled out, yelled at, so many demands tossed at you. Hours are constantly cut. No appreciation for all the hard work you do. Lack of support from your manager, store manager. The only rule Nordstrom has is to "use your best judgement" and when you do you get chewed out for making a decision rather than being taught how to make better choices.
