Pros

Income potential exists in commission sales environment. You must be prepared to work hard, sell hard, and be aggressive to make money.

Cons

Typical retail job schedule: split days off, varied shifts open to close, very hard to plan things in your personal life.

Pros

Working on commission- the effort you put forth is directly related to how much you are paid

Cons

Working on commission- no base pay, not sure if the pay is enough for how many hours worked

Pros

Lots of beautiful stuff, and friendly people, good pay for retail, good benefits, you get to dress up for work :)

Cons

Your paycheck is heavily affected by the economy. Overstaffing, sometimes makes you fight for your paycheck. Management use blatant favoritism, people are often promoted based on who likes them not based on whether they are qualified.
