Pros

Flexible schedule, decent pay (commission base) get to meet new people on a daily basis. Decent employee discount. Pleasant overall store atmosphere.

Cons

You feel like just another sales employee. There are way too many sales associate per department and it gets crazier during the holiday season. It's commission based so sometimes you feel like you have fight for customers. With declining retail sales there is high turnover and sometimes you feel like one the herd as opposed to a valued employee.

Pros

Worked on and off for 6 years and was able to work and attend college at the same time. Managers very flexible with time off when needed.

Cons

Occassional attitudes by mangers/store mangers. Yearly sale events were long hours with a lot of time on feet. Slow periods could have effect on pay.
