Pros

The management really does care about their employees. The commission is great, gets a little competitive but what place doesn't.

Cons

It takes an extremely long time to move up in the company. But stay strong and you'll get there!

Pros

It's a fun environment, great people....very little stress or pressure.

Cons

The medical benefits are horrible. If you drop below 129 hours a month they cancel your health insurance. They don't notify you, they just cancel it. If you work 128 hours one month...too bad, it's canceled. After you realize you have lost your coverage you have the option to cobra it for the 5 months it takes to start over. Of course the cobra prices are VERY expensive. It also takes 6 months to start accruing PTO so you better not be out for the first year or you just keep starting over. Worst case scenario for out of pocket if you were to be out of work with a catastrophic illness would cause most people to loose everything.

Pros

The best reason to work at Norstrom is the discount

Cons

At Norstrom, especially in thousand oaks, ca they want the employees to fight over commission because it makes you sell more. They allow co-workers to yell at each other and steal each others commission.
