Pros
Exciting work with new products on a regular basis. Innovative products! Nice coworkers and lower management. Pretty good benefits. Decent severance pay when they terminate you.
Cons
They have zero commitment to keeping employees employed. Will fire you even if the facility is busy and is making money - you don't see it coming so will never feel comfortable buying a new car or paying for home maintenance - you need to keep that savings account as high as possible. I saw two massive layoffs while employed. Management doesn't bother replacing those that are let go - they just make those that still have a job work longer hours or the work doesn't get done. Human Resources (HR) dept has a policy that you are not to contact them directly as the company has a website you can visit and if all else fails you can email a general HR account to get your personal questions answered.
