Pros
Once upon a time Napa cared about quality
Cons
Now they only care about their new corporate structure which enriches the business people and a precious few "partners" while squeezing the providers. Experienced and high performing providers are paid the same below market salaries as are new grads and low performers. Although this has been going on for years Napa was lucky that the physicians and crnas were professional enough to work under these circumstances. That paradigm was unsustainable. The good people are leaving, some for lower paying jobs ! And Napa is having a very hard time replacing them, so most sites are woefully understaffed. Many of the remaining physician staff are not board certified (and not eligible) and unable to find jobs elsewhere.
