Pros

Great pay, good benefits, and flexible time off - this is just the beginning. Every day since I started my remote role I have felt welcomed and fully supported by some of the most genuine leaders I have ever worked with. North encourages you to build relationships throughout the company at every level, it has ERGs to foster connectivity and belonging, and they are willing to invest in your career development. I have been with the company for three months and I am already enrolled in a leadership development program and the ETA CPP certification program.

Cons

There are always opportunities for improvement, whether it is processes or tools and technology used, but nothing significant comes to mind so far as a newer employee.

Wow, we are so happy your experience at North has been so positive! We loved your tag line "Welcoming, Supportive and Genuine" as it describes exactly the leadership behaviors we want everyone to experience when they join our North team. We know it is often difficult to build relationships in a fully remote environment - especially at a company our size - but you have obviously taken steps to intentionally make that happen through participation in our Employee Resource Groups, Level Up Leader Certification and our CPP certification program - love it! We are thrilled that you are engaged and thriving, thank you so much for letting us know!

Pros

Great teammates, benefits and opportunity to advance.

Cons

Waay to corporate, takes forever to get support approvals for Sales Agents so agents start blaming you for bad customer service.

We appreciate your feedback and review. We were very happy to see that you listed your team mates, our strong benefits program and opportunities for career advancement as "pro's" in your time with North. We have a company goal to be the easiest payments processor to work with, so your feedback on the time it takes to get support approvals for Sales Agents was very disappointing. We have shared your review with our risk and compliance team as well as our sales leaders to promote learning and continuous improvement. We wish you well in your next career move and, again, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.

Pros

Pros: Some colleagues were supportive and genuinely talented.

Cons

Cons: Poor leadership, no product readiness, lack of marketing support, non-functional technology, and zero brand recognition. I joined the Hospitality POS division at North with high hopes, but from day one, the red flags were impossible to ignore—and they just kept piling up. The most glaring issue was the lack of preparation and support for the product. They launched a new POS system with no marketing collateral, website, or brand recognition. It felt like they expected sales reps to work miracles with a product that wasn’t ready for the market. Worse, the technology didn’t work reliably, making building trust with prospective clients nearly impossible.

This was a difficult review to read, we never like to see a one-star rating but appreciate the feedback and take it very seriously. To assist with this response, I turned to David Arthurs, CTO of North Hospitality. David shared the following: "Thank you for your sales and marketing advice. Many changes are happening in 2025 and we are confident we will be able to directly address the sales and marketing issues you have pointed out. As with any new product, it takes time to bring it to market. As a former employee, you would be referring to the pilot phase of the new product launch. This is typical for early-stage software releases with the focus on sales and marketing coming during the actual launch phase in mid-2025." Again, thank you for taking time to provide your feedback and we wish you luck in your future career changes.
