Pros

Great building/office environment - like most things at this company, it looks great from the outside. The front line staff and managers are also fantastic people - they do the best they can to service customers and produce and for the most part are really dedicated to their teams.

Cons

So many to list but like the title says, let's start at the top. This is the only company in my career where people actively try to avoid interactions with the CEO/Founder. There's never a kind word to be heard from his mouth and he seems to actually enjoy tearing down and demotivating the people at his company with his "passion". I could go on and on but let's skip to a summary: This company looks nice and seems professional from the outside but there's some serious rot below the surface. The upper management has turned over significantly and there's a lot of Yes-people at the top now who will say whatever it takes to stick around for another few months. Turnover is stratospheric in every area except under the former COO, so of course she and the top leaders in that area were all shown the door. If you join this company, you should have a quick exit strategy - you'll need it.

Pros

I am very disappointed to see such accusations of our leaders and Human Resources. I know how easy it is to jump to conclusions when those you work closely with are impacted by a re-organization. This is never easy; but if you REALLY took a good look as to where the silos and the finger pointing were coming from, if was from the very part of the organization that you claim to have been the only one that cared. Open your eyes. Why do you think that leadership team is no longer with us? Do you think the C-suite wanted to make these difficult decisions, knowing that many of you would jump to the wrong conclusions? While I definitely agree that there is a lot of opportunity with our current leadership, especially as it relates to communication, I am starting to see some improvements. This level of change takes time, so I would encourage you to step up and help support these changes and communicate your concerns to your leaders or Human Resources instead of spreading gossip that will only cause more harm. For those of you that left the company and chose to post such hateful words, there is probably a reason why you are no longer with North American Bancard. For those of you that remain employed with North American Bancard and continue to complain online, I’m sure another company would be happy to have you. For those of us, like myself who enjoy what I do, love my team and appreciate the opportunities afforded to me by leaders at North American Bancard, I will continue to support the company WITHOUT any pressure from leaders or HR to do so!

Cons

The silos and lack of accountability created by a large part of the organization, that have finally been identified. I'm encouraged to be part of a better future for NAB!

Pros

There are some really great people that have helped this company reach success. Unfortunately, many have started to be forced out of their positions or seek other alternatives. This is what the most senior leaders want - control, power, and self-indulgence.

Cons

If you like to be berated by the owner of the company, not supported by all the “yes” people he has at his side, and can stand to work with a spineless HR department willing to overlook everything they are doing, then this is a the place for you. In fact, your career will thrive. These senior leaders have the time to write fake reviews and not expose the truth that lies behind the scenes. They’ve even had reviews deemed too derogatory for the company removed from Glassdoor. They lack character, class, and any dignity in leading this company to achieve real success.
