Horrible Place to work

Pros

The benefits were ok. There are some ok managers.

Cons

The Management sucks, they do not listen, and expect things to get done quickly, not realizing that the job will be rushed with rushed results. They allow people to work here with no clue as to what they should be doing in their job, it is as if they have some type of hold on the company as to why they keep them employed. They have no loyalty to their employees that really work hard for them, and everyone is stabbing each other in the back to get ahead. You can be loved today and out the door within hours.

As with all reviews, we appreciate your honest feedback. It is our goal to improve the work quality of all NorthStar teammates. At our monthly town hall meetings in our corporate office we recognize teammates of the month as well as other individuals or groups who have contributed significantly on a project or specific initiative. In addition, each department at all levels within the organization gets the opportunity to demonstrate their value to the company by sharing personally and professionally their efforts. We also have anonymous comment boxes for teammates to make suggestions to improve the office or culture and ask questions they would like addressed by leadership. Our core values stress the importance of compassionate care and we continue to hope this is experienced not only by our patients, surgeons and administrators we work with, but also our employees and the treatment of others.

Patient Focused Growth Company

Pros

Amazing ability to stay focused on patient care while still trying to grow and keep costs down. Focus on finding talent (clinical and administrative) and providing professional development. People smile and say "hi" to each other. Career/professional development. If you see a problem, you are encouraged to find a process improvement or to try and make things better. If you are motivated and want to be better, this is a great place to work.

Cons

Not a 1% growth company. If you want to just sit and hang out, not the right work environment.
