- Zero advancement opportunity in IT department
- Doctors are extremely rude no matter what, even though you're only trying to help them
- Being on call is terrible
- Pay tops out very quickly and you only get about a .25 cent raise per year after that
- Very busy, so little to no time for cross training, which creates skill vacuums whenever someone is sick or on vacation
- You get a lot of PTO, but, you do NOT get paid holidays, so you have to use PTO for each holiday. Also, it's a hospital and you will get sick, A LOT, so there's goes another big chunk of your PTO.
