Pros

Good place to work and work is challenging. Good place to be creative as long as people keep working together as a cohesive team.

Cons

NGC is a good place to work but only if your project has a good budget. Difficult to move to other projects when one's current project is done.

Pros

Strong technical and programme management ethos. When UK management had primacy, NGIT had a capable, competent and cohesive team . Good to gain first job experience of a Fortune 100, multi-national.

Cons

US centric view on market not aligned to european business ITAR restrictions place huge difficulty on pulling product though from US. UK staff sometimes treated as "third country nationals"

Pros

I have been working at Northrop for several months and find it to be a great place to learn new skills, advance my career, and develop as an engineer. I will be sticking around for a long time.

Cons

The amount of vacation time is less than at my previous defense contractor job (Lockheed), but the ability to take every other Friday off is a great benefit.
