Pros

-Pay -Good Company to have on resume -Great Network of professionals within the company -Coworkers were very helpful -Work/Life balance. They kept to the 9/80 schedule and paid OT

Cons

The management here was the downfall for me and was ultimately why I left Northrop. My lead would ignore all attempts at communication leaving me with no direction whenever I had questions. My manager was not any better, they were very snarky and constantly talked down to their employees. Another con I realized while at Northrop was the lack of community and culture. Everyone sticks to their areas and projects which makes the area feel introverted and didn’t foster collaboration.

Pros

If it weren't for certain members of my contracts team who had supported me and showed me the ropes on how to handle my position as a contract administrator, I would have quit a lot sooner than I did.

Cons

My manager and I did not get along. My worklife under said manager became filled with dread due to unceasing micromanagement, and constant reminders from that person of how inadequate I was for the position. (Never mind that I had almost a decade of experience in the aerospace and defense managing contracts before I joined NG.)

Pros

Work-Life Balance: 9/80 Schedule is a plus

Cons

-I was so happy when I got the offer letter from this company. I have been with this company for almost 10 months. Now when I think about it, this company is really different from what I thought. No career growth, there isn't a proper team structure, management keeps hiring people when they are running low on work. On paper, they follow an agile/scrum team but in reality, most of the teams run like the wild west. - Management really don't care about you -They don't care about your career growth -They promised relocation benefits but they didn't give it to me even when I qualified. - A lot of incompetent people work in this company
